I noticed last week that COSTCO is selling 80D w/18-55 + 55-250 + accessories for 1299. Made me wonder if Canon is trying to reduce inventory in advance of a new model?

1. Tou cab BUY teh 80D NOW!
If the 90D isn't announced 2 weeks before Thanksgiving, I don't expect Canon will have it ready this year. The best question is what are you using now and what does the 80D NOT have that the 90D MIGHT have that would make you regret the purchase or really hate continuing to use what you have.

I've seen rumors all over the lot including that it might be mirrorless, Have Full 4K--unlikely, and more.

If you need a camera, buy a camera. The camera you'll buy today has many superior cameras--already-- that are more expensive and feature rich. Pick the best one you can afford that fits your hand and face and forget about the rest.

I assume he's referring to the various series, not model numbers. The 1D, 5D, 6D 7D series are more or less in order of "quality" and are also numbered lower than the the xxD and xxxD series. Obviously within a series the 70D, as an example, with a lower model number than the 80D is not superior to it.

Could well be. It is not generic across all the models/cameras as you clearly show.

Nope those are fairly normal prices. B&H is selling a similar kit for the same money. It's only $200 off the original prices with is normal once a camera has been in the market for a while. The Canon 7D mark II which was introduced at $1799 in 2014 has sold regularly for $1499 for well over two years. Its is now available for $1299 wand includes a wifi card. While a new 90D may be released soon, the current 80D pricing does not seem to be an effort to reduce inventory.

What do you mean by "will stop action but don't like picture very much"? Can you post some examples? Make sure you select store original when you upload images so we can view them at full resolution. There are lots of reasons that you may not be happy with your images that have much more to do with how you are using your camera than the camera itself.

Really? I tell you what. You Google it and show us a comparison link of an 80D and 90D. I'd love to see one for a camera that hasn't even be announced yet and for which there aren't even any credible rumors.

Since you are shooting weddings (professionally?) I might suggest a 7D II. Only because it has dual card slots. I do not care about dual cards myself, but weddings are once in a lifetime (one hopes)

Please do it again and check store original before attaching the images as I suggested, and this time make sure you haven't stripped out the EXIF shooting data so we can see the parameters you actually used.
