I have the same car, a 2017 black ford fusion plug in hybrid. During the summer my driving mix gives me on average, 80 mpg. During the winter, in NJ, high 69s to mid 70s depending on how far I have to drive. It is my 3rd fusion, first hybrid. Solid performer, but virtually no cargo space in trunk because of the batteries. I am so upset Ford has chosen to stop manufacturing them next year.

Canon spends a LOT of money on their marketing. Nikon spends a REAL LOT on their technology.

You can’t pay a professional, who earns his living from his equipment, to use anything less that what works best, produces the best results, and is most comfortable to use.
So if most professionals are using Canon, the question remains what has the company done to achieve that reputation, besides spent money on hype?

None of our Fords ever broke, they have been great cars, especially our current 2017 Fusion Hybrid SE. 51-60mpg around town, very smooth and solid, classy looking shiny black.

The Fusion is a terrific car!

I just watched the Sox win the world series and noticed (not just tonight, but any game I watch) that ALL of the cameras used are Canon. National Geographic also.

On the other hand whenever I see pictures taken in outer space the cameras are always Nikon. Just an observation. Red Sox-Yankees. Chevy-Ford. Canon-Nikon.

And this is important, why? Does it really matter what they shoot as long as they record the needed images?

Have you Driven a Ford Lately?
Not anymore. Ford dropped their car division except Mustang and will continue producing Trucks.

funny, I was just looking at a 2019 Fusion. Ford has said they plan to just produce cross overs and SUV's in the future as the market is trending in that direction. That future isn't here yet.
Semantics, the smaller crossovers and SUVs are in reality just weird looking cars

Canon's fluorite lens elements have problems going into space. While these lenses provide incredible advantages here on Earth, they tend to suffer damage during lift off.

I thought that had eventually been debunked???

Made in Mexico by workers that earn very little compared to American workers. I have never owned a Ford that did not nickel and dime me to death.

You must not have been looking very closely. I saw a number of Nikon cameras in the photo areas and after the game.

Lot of Canon lenses at major events, no doubt. More of everything else in general public.

Having owned a wide variety of Detroit Muscle - and foreign vehicles back in the day (1967 forward for me owning and driving) I can say with some authority that all required pretty regular maintenance to keep going. I bought used cars and did all my own maintenance. Always carried a well thought out tool bag, spare hoses, fan belts, jumpers, spare points-n-condenser sets, fix-a-flat, bottle jack, oil, gas can, extra spark plug wires and at least a couple spark plugs, etc. Back then you could fix many things right on the side of the road, not so much these days.

Can still remember stopping along the road to help a stranded motorist on many occasions, even if it wasn't a pretty girl!!!! Saved the day for many, and as we all remember, no cell phones, you had to walk or look for a call box or a payphone. While a nightmare to work on (look at the equipment utilized by dealerships these days - many independent mechanic shops either can't afford it, can't get the computer codes, or special tools required), at least the modern auto's will go (in some cases) several hundred thousand miles before a major failure, of course there is still the maintenance requirement, just not nearly as often.

Many of my coworkers (up until I retired) drove their Chevy/Ford/Dodge pickups 250 to 500K before giving up on them, usually a tranny by around 250K, engine at 350K - however, most of these folks took good care and did the maintenance. Most of the one's who didn't, did not see anywhere near that kind of service. "Oh, I have to change the oil". Diff gear fluid, bearings ??? And on and on.

I still miss the old cars/trucks!!!!!!!
