My grandmother was born in Fresno back in the 19th Century and she said it wasn't much then. And I am 83. As far as I know it's so far down the bucket list it doesn't rate a number. Condolences. You should get hazardous duty pay. We accelerate at Fresno when we drive to Yosemite on CA 41 and don't slow down until Coarsegold CA. Good luck.

My condolences. Perhaps you can look for Jerry Brown's folly, the bullet train from nowhere to nowhere.

What is the on-time rating? Hate to be late!

If you like classical music, check the philharmonic schedule-it is an excellent venue. I'm not sure about the County Fair schedule, it may be going. Check with the Fresno Camera Club, they can let you know what might be happening while you are there.

Good Morning,
I am taking a business trip to Fresno, CA next week and am trying to learn if there are any places unique to the city to photograph.
I will be centered at the Doubletree Hotel, Fresno Convention Center. My free time will be in the evenings.

Any thoughts?
Thanks
George

Yosemite would be too far away for your schedule and the color this year is not very good anyway. Nothing going on in the foothills either (I love in Sonora, CA). Leave the camera at home (or if you take it be sure it is insured!). Relax at the bar with friends and enjoy your brief stay in Fresno, there is just not much else to do there.

Ok, Ok, one more pile on for poor Fresno...You Tube has the old Carol Burnett sitcom, "Fresno". It's pretty hilarious. You can watch that in your room, and know you aren't missing anything within the city limits.

Not too much in Fresno, but Yosemite National Park is about an hour from Fresno, and you can just get on Highway 41 N, about a block away
from the Doubletree. Lots to see there. If you have more time, you go on the 49er trail, off Hwy 41, before you get to Yosemite, in Oakhurst.
