I keep all of them (including my "C"s -- I rate my photos A, B, and C); my best ones I share on Facebook and my very best ones go to print (usually 11x14, sometimes larger) and I display them and also give them as presents.

Get a digital frame. Most take an SD card so you can easily put thousands, 10s of thousands of images onto a 32GB card that continuously cycles on your kitchen counter, bookshelf, etc. Every 6-months or so, copy new / recent work onto the card.

Now that’s a great idea. It would make a good gift for my boys, featuring their families as well.

Many of my images are taken for agriculture clients. The very best hang on their office and home walls. Each year I put together a DVD slide show for each family. I have two "commercial" clients that have several of my pictures on their business place walls, that I change out a couple times a year. There is a beauty shop that I have placed an album that their clients can look through while waiting. That one is changed out fairly often. Please note that all this is a lot of work, and takes as much time in my office as out in the field...

I post them online - Facebook, Gurushots, Viewbug, occasionally print, very occasionally order coffee mugs for gifts, very occasionally email to my brother, who refuses to go on Facebook, or message my son, who rarely checks FB.

At my age, I frequent a number doctors. Many of my photos are in their offices and exam rooms.

I created a gallery wall in my office. I can switch out the photos I have hanging as I find new favorites. Frames are all black, matting is off-white, size and shapes are varied. It seemed a shame to take them and then just forget them, especially when they involve so many pleasant memories. I also do a “themed” calendar for myself and our children.

This is almost exactly what I do. I have gallery walls in our living room, our guest room and in our condo.

For trips, I do photo books that, one hopes, stay in the family. Of course, some are printed (paper or canvas) and hanging around the house. As for the other thousands, I’m waiting for the Smithsonian to request them for their archives.

Over the past 10 years or so I've amassed a library of galleries in pbase.com and have recently begun using SmugMug as well.

We have 2 digital photo frames mounted on the wall in our living room and have images running on those constantly. Last several years we have had different trips running on each one. It is a wonderful way to enjoy those memories by us and friends who stop by. Not very expensive either.

The sad truth.

Actually a few go on Facebook, a few on Nat Geo "Your Shot" and a few on 500PX. Depending on the image I pick what I think is a good posting spot.

I've wanted to do this too, just that the larger dig-frames are a little pricey.

I sell mine where I can. Published in a magazine called Our Iowa which pays for my adventures and gives great exposure. Also sell online and locally also decorate my walls with my favorites.
