Now that you've taken those great images and does the best editing that you can do what do you do with the images?

Negatives go into sleeves and into binders by year.
Images get printed and put in a shoebox or put on my office wall or sent to friends and family.
I created a gallery wall in my office. I can switch out the photos I have hanging as I find new favorites. Frames are all black, matting is off-white, size and shapes are varied. It seemed a shame to take them and then just forget them, especially when they involve so many pleasant memories. I also do a βthemedβ calendar for myself and our children.
Save them on the hard drive; print some; post some on Facebook; put some on my web site.

My best images get stored on several external hard drives where they will remain until the hard drives fail.
My worst images get the same treatment. At least the ones that aren't so bad that they are deleted immediately.
I have an old computer that runs a slide show of nice images continually.
Shoe Boxes are a great idea -- Must have at least 20yrs worth of slides & envelopes full of negatives stored away in back of various closets through out my house
As for Digital: For sure External Hard Drives that is until they fail --- But for all those "super keepers" the ones I really want to keep for ever & ever I Burn them onto "M-Disks" -- In my case that's two images 1) the original RAW & 2) the Jpeg finished product.

Anything you want. They're your images. What do you want to do with them?

I do keep all the images on a disk accessible by LR so I can search them at any time.
That process is only good as long as I'm around since my family doesn't do LR.
Stored in two hard drives, never to be seen again.
Stored in the iCloud, and then backed up on an external hard drive. Plus, of course, theyβre on my computer. And I do print my favorites and hang them on my photo walls.
Post them on flickr and facebook. Save them in a folder on my desktop.
I have a portfolio of a couple of dozen images online. Post some on social media for family and friends and in Texas Facebook groups. I am surprised at how good some of the photos by amateurs are on the Texas Facebook groups. No question many are at a professional level especially from the birders. My house has a very long hallway and I have them printed on glass (16" x 21") to post in the hallway. I have an up to 13"x19" photo printer and print and frame some for my lightroom and library / music room.
