- Maximum combined attachment file size is 20MB. That's the total limit for all images attached to a single post.

Double-check the file size of an image in your file manager. Then attempt a single photo upload.

Here is a photo you successfully uploaded in July. Download this to your computer and try to upload to this topic, no need to create a totally new topic. You could try a different web browser if still not working.

Strange. I've intentionally posted large photos as a test, and they get reduced in size automatically. Ordinarily, I post JPEGS 1500 px on the long side. Try a different picture, just as a test.

It's hard to say the cause of today's problems, but looking at your prior posts using a D7200, some of the prior successful attachments were sized 800 x 533 pixels.

Given your use of LR, consider the technical suggestions at this post that explain useful parameters and an example of using the LR Export dialog to create a file that will fall under the 20mb limit of the UHH site.

Never heard that on UHH. How large, and to what reduction?

(edit: removed my three raw files after demonstration that 45 mb total would upload)

To disprove Bill's and Chg Canon's 20 mb total claim, here are three raw files, totaling 45 mb.

We're not the Admin for the site ... the site documentation, as referenced, and the frequent experience says otherwise, even with this demonstration. My own understanding is both a single file and the cumulative size of multiple file attachments in a single <post> need to be below 20MB to be consistently successful. Contrary to the documentation, there's some argument the size is more like 20.2MB ... Maybe you've shown, Linda, the cumulative aspect is mistaken.

Not my claim. That's copy and pasted from the link I provided, so it is the admin's claim.

(edit: removed six jpgs after demonstration that 20 mb "total" isn't correct)

I'd test first with a single attachment at 22+ MB .... since we don't know what our OP is doing, deviating onto cumulative attachments is interesting but maybe not relevant.

Do you have a jpg handy of that size? I don't. In fact, even the raw I just accessed are under 20 mb each.

I concur with Linda, having attached multiple images that totaled significantly more than 20 MB (no individual image exceeded 20 MB). I was surprised that it worked, but it definitely did. jack

For a test file, just create a TIFF.

Probably the site limits have been changed but the instructions haven't. I asked Admin a couple of years ago to remove the statement about using "store original" for panoramas only, because everyone was criticizing newbies for not making a download available.

If you're gonna have a rule, enforce it, eh?

I'm on a Chromebook, my editing computer isn't even turned on. But I'll be back; I'm too curious now to leave it alone
