A couple of waterfall shots from Tasmania Australia.
Both images stitched in Windows Live.
Colour cast not corrected in first image because that was the colour at the bottom of the falls in the deep twilight shade.
No filters used apart from maybe a polariser as the light levels were very low.

Nikon D90, Nikkor 50mm, F/1.8D, ISO 100, F/4, 8 seconds

These are shots I took in the Smokey Mtns.
There are an abundance of falls & moving water
to shoot there. I still have a lot to learn about
capturing water shots.
I shoot with a Nikon D 5100.

f9 @ 1/6 sec ISO 100

Nice shots pgl but I don't think the second one classifies as long exposure.

...sorry, but you've lost some detail within the whites (either over-exposed or during post-processing, the blue is unrealistic, too-saturated colors...

Just today. On 285 near Bailey, CO there is a creek. The colors probably would have been better last week.

Canon T1i with my Tamron 28-200.
F22, ISO 100, 1 Second. About 6:ish.

...either forgot to change WB from 'fluorescent' to 'auto'/'shade' or the abundance of cyan/blue was caused by a linear polarizer(?)...

They are all superb-- The last one is the best, IMO.
