Here are four macro images I have taken recently. All were taken with a Nikon D500 fitted with a Sigma 180 MM f/2.8 APO Macro DG HSM OS lens. I have had this lens for around a year but it has taken me some time to get comfortable with it. It is a heavy lens and the optical stabilization feature is a must if any hand held photography is planned. All these are single shots taken hand held in natural light with no extension tubes or other apparatus involved. Regarding the little green tree frogs, the black background is the result of shade and was a nice surprise when I processed the image. It is one of my best this summer. Thanks in advance for taking a look.

Wow saxman71 these are beautifully done! This is just brilliant use of natural light, esp. the tree fogs.

Wonderful frog pictures. Do you know the species? (The genus must be Hyla.)

I believe them to be Pacific Tree Frogs. The scientific name is Pseudacris regilla. Thanks for taking a look and leaving a comment.
