Here are four macro images I have taken recently. All were taken with a Nikon D500 fitted with a Sigma 180 MM f/2.8 APO Macro DG HSM OS lens. I have had this lens for around a year but it has taken me some time to get comfortable with it. It is a heavy lens and the optical stabilization feature is a must if any hand held photography is planned. All these are single shots taken hand held in natural light with no extension tubes or other apparatus involved. Regarding the little green tree frogs, the black background is the result of shade and was a nice surprise when I processed the image. It is one of my best this summer. Thanks in advance for taking a look.

Nice job on these macros. The tree frogs is an excellent capture and I really like the reflections you got in the water drops.
Shooting macros is one of my favorite shooting modes. I usually shoot handheld with no image stabilization.
I use macro lenses and extension tubes.
Keep of the good work!
