Just got into Macro. Appreciate the detail of your images. Super results from hand held images.

Here are four macro images I have taken recently. All were taken with a Nikon D500 fitted with a Sigma 180 MM f/2.8 APO Macro DG HSM OS lens. I have had this lens for around a year but it has taken me some time to get comfortable with it. It is a heavy lens and the optical stabilization feature is a must if any hand held photography is planned. All these are single shots taken hand held in natural light with no extension tubes or other apparatus involved. Regarding the little green tree frogs, the black background is the result of shade and was a nice surprise when I processed the image. It is one of my best this summer. Thanks in advance for taking a look.

Excellent work! And handheld too! I'm finding that at my age, I can't seem to stand or kneel steady enough for such close work handheld.
