This is the picture found on craigs list that I wrote about last week. Who would "sell" all this for $800.00?

The same add was in Indianapolis Craig's list with a number to call or text. I did not bother but it was probably one of the bidding sites. I answered one a once and it was a promo for one their sites telling you how cheap you could buy some thing. To good to be true, just leave it alone and not get suckered in.

I don't see anything wrong. That looks like Canon's low-end dSLR with a large kit lens, plus accessories

I don't think so as it's difficult to steal the entire set with accessories and manuals. It could be someone else picture.

You might want to clean off your monitor. Looks like a top-line 5D IV that retails new for $3,199 this morning ... And the kit lens is likely a 24-105 f/4L IS II, another $1,099 if purchased new ala carte.

Canon 5D Mark IV is certainly not low end. Around $3300 for just the body. The lens pictured is close to $2000. Must be a scam or stolen property.

In Stevens Point Wisconsin about 20 years was an ad for a new Cadillac for $100.00. No one paid any attention to it. Until a teen ager went to buy the car. The woman sold it to him for the $100.00. She said her husband had filed for divorce and she was getting rid of the car before her soon-to-be ex-husband gave it to his girlfriend.

Perhaps he was trying to be sarcastic.

It's a scam but not stolen good. If someone wanted to sell stolen good they would price them at may be $3000. Which makes a good deal but would not cause suspicion.

Rare, but it happens. I once picked up a Pennysaver (want ads and for sale paper) and saw a really nice motor home for $100. I called to see if it was a misprint and it wasn't, but it had already been sold.

When buying online reputation and past history is everything. I've never used Craig's list, but Amazon and Ebay rate their sellers. The sellers try very hard not to get a bad review that will hurt their reliability rating.

Who would sell it? I don't really know. Why not investigate and see what you can find out. Last time I checked, we are all innocent until proven other wise. It's not a scam until proven to be a scam.
