Our next door neighbors have a white Rose of Sharon and early this morning I took a picture of one of its blooms and later showed it to Ellen and she did not believe me when I told her that it was a Rose of Sharon bloom, not a Rose Mallow. About the only difference that I could find was that the Rose of Sharon was somewhat smaller in diameter. Take care!

Many thanks, Val and think they had all bloomed out in a couple of weeks and hope that you guys and the pups are ok also! There still are a few hummingbirds and butterflies visiting daily but not as many butterflies as earlier in the season and did see one fairly large monarch caterpillar feeding on the swamp milkweed today, but before long the monarchs will migrate to Mexico for the winter!
