Thanks for commenting. LJ is a very interesting place. Excellent food. Good beer. Flowers everywhere. Good music.

Thank you for those kind words. Can never spend too much time wandering in LJ, especially in the early morning or at night.

Thanks for sharing this most interesting and varied series. It's nice to take a trip without having to leave home.

Thanks Vicki. Not sure to say that I took this trip by leaving home or that I returned to what feels very much like home.

Wonderfully eclectic variety in this series. Although I love the geometric and graphic patterns in this series, I'm always drawn to the quiet riverwalk and street scenes. I love the reflection of the building through the window. So quiet and inviting.

Arrived yesterday after an almost missed connection in Munich. Great to be back. Alas, only for two weeks rather than a year. Will make the best of it. Went for a short walk with camera last PM. I was dragging badly by the end. Woke at 3:30 AM. Went out at 5 for two hours. Meeting a friend for dinner in a bit. Will take camera with one lens.

The first five were from last night. The last five from the walk this AM.

interesting tour and great shots, frjack.

Thanks you. Wandering the streets of LJ in the early morning or, during the off-season, in the later evening (it is a zoo along the river at night in warm weather and a different kind of pleasure) is one of the great gifts of being in a community a few minutes walk from the very center of the city. Getting up early, saying morning prayers, and then taking the camera to walk and do morning meditation is what drives a lot of what I shoot during the quiet times.

Thanks. The weather has been terrific. Easier to concentrate when it is not 90 F and humid.
