Arrived yesterday after an almost missed connection in Munich. Great to be back. Alas, only for two weeks rather than a year. Will make the best of it. Went for a short walk with camera last PM. I was dragging badly by the end. Woke at 3:30 AM. Went out at 5 for two hours. Meeting a friend for dinner in a bit. Will take camera with one lens.

The first five were from last night. The last five from the walk this AM.

City is packed with tourists. Glad I got to know it in the off-season as well. A different feeling then.

Thanks for commenting. It is a fascinating and exquisitely beautiful country. Tourists are beginning to discover LJ, a good thing and a bad thing. Economically great but for photography during the day it can be difficult. Early morning is fantastic.

Thanks for commenting. The shot you refer to was taken in the evening I arrived. One of the great things about LJ is that it is not an early morning city. One can go out as late as 6 AM and shoot away with no people interfering. By evening the center of the city is alive with people, many of them young and speaking interesting forms of English. Highly recommended as a photo-tourist destination. Spring and fall are particularly lovely and a bit less congested.
