As soon as I saw the title, you came to mind. Then, I saw who posted and things just fell together. It's great to see these as I love seeing this city through your eyes. As is usual, your capturing the views of Ljubljana are very nice.

Great shots, Fr. I'm sure you missed your old stomping grounds. It's good to see some of your pics from that region again. I'm still in love with Dubrovnik after 48 years. Wish I could have seen more of the wider areas.

Thank you very much, that is quite a compliment. LJ is an easy place to fall in love with, it would be an easy place in which to fall in love, and great city for a honeymoon, not that that is ever a possibility. Will be posting from Italy for the next six days and then back to LJ for five before returning to Boston.

Thank you for commenting. Photos must be in a context of some sort. That is why I spend a lot of hours wandering with a camera, particularly in off-the-beaten-path places.

Thank you. I expect to post quite a bit. Just arrived in the Italian mountains on the Austrian, Slovenian, and Italian borders for the next week then back to LJ.

Thanks for commenting. I told my superior that my ideal mission would be spending six months per year in Central and Eastern Europe, esp. Slovenia, taking photos and then six months showing them to convince tourists to visit. He didn't bite.

Thank you very much. I've a standing invitation to Dubrovnik that I can't make this year. May be in Europe again next summer to present two symposia. Tempting destination. It feels as if I never left LJ.
