I truly don't have cause to complain with a day so clear and calm. It's just my love of dramatic lighting that compels me to seek those golden hour opportunities, especially around water. But I did get a few beauties at the start and, later, at the end of the day. I would have to say that it's the Tioga Road which I will remember Yosemite by. As for travel planning, I can only put myself in the vicinity for opportunities--more often than not, it's the happenstance glance out of the corner of my eye that catches some really special scene that only exists in that moment.
