All of my macro images are all full manual. Camera is set to manual, ISO is set to a single value, ring light is set to full manual and the macro lens is an older manual focus one. Macro, being my niche, is why most of my images are full manual.

Aye - usually for static subjects. I tend to get better exposures in manual mode. . .

According to your restrictions, I have to say "aye." However, it's so seldom, that I would prefer to say "nay." You need another possibility: Occasionally use manual
