You need to be in the Main Photography Section, the Photo Gallery, Critique, or the many other sections related to photography. This is Chit-Chat, one of the two sections that has absolutely nothing to do with photography.

The question of whether Ohio State or Alabama should be the fourth team in the college football playoff has already led to calls to expansion to an eight team playoff. Actually, the four team playoff system assures that the best two teams in the country are in the playoff. If polls were to select the top two teams only, there could always be an argument that the third team was better than the second team. So....how do you fix potential controversies between #2 and #3 teams? A four team playoff. That way, you know that the best two teams are in the playoff. The fourth team is inconsequential. So, if there is a controversy about who should be in the fourth spot for the playoff, it doesn't really matter, because we know that we have the best two teams in the playoff, and that's what's important. If there were an 8 team playoff there would eventually be a controversy for that 8th spot, and on it would go ad infinitum.
The question of whether Ohio State or Alabama shou... (show quote)

Ohio State will play USC in a future Bowl Game. Not the Rose Bowl though. That one is reserved for a playoff game. The correct slogan is O-HI-O.

That’s because Alabama didn’t play any good teams & Ohio State did with two losses, one to Oklahoma & one to Iowa. All we can do is wait & see what they decide!

Alabama played a cream puff non-conference schedule. The only tough game they played was against Auburn, and got their butts beat. Scheduling teams like Mercer, should not be rewarded with a trip to the playoffs.

so you think Ohio State getting beat 33 points by a NOBODY should be rewarded...BTW I dont like either team..just more reason for a 8 team playoff as far as Im concerned..

One-game playoffs mean nothing, so why bother?

Lots of good points made by all, can't argue any of them. As a Wisconsin grad, I'll admit that Wisconsin, next to Alabama, had the easiest schedule, but did beat Iowa, the team that beat Ohio state by 33 points by a score of 38-14...I, of course, am in favor of an 8 team playoff.

All Wisconsin had to do was beat Ohio State, and the entire matter would have been settled. Alabama and Ohio State would have been left out. And Wisconsin would have been the only undefeated team in the Tournament. A bummer for them. Turnovers killed them in that Ohio State game. You gotta do what you gotta do. Just Win Baby!!! Wisconsin will play Miami in the Orange Bowl. Both losers in their Conference Championship Games.
