No, Mercer did not beat Alabama.

But maybe my other school will.

Go Dawgs.

Georgia looked good. Maybe you'll catch 'bama in an off year....#4 instead of #1!!

That’s because Alabama didn’t play any good teams & Ohio State did with two losses, one to Oklahoma & one to Iowa. All we can do is wait & see what they decide!

Compare the statistics, Alabama's SOS schedule is higher than Ohio State.

Alabama played a cream puff non-conference schedule. The only tough game they played was against Auburn, and got their butts beat. Scheduling teams like Mercer, should not be rewarded with a trip to the playoffs.

Coach Saban addressed this issue. He is for a all P-5 schedule for out of conference. The reason Bama played Mercer is because they could not get a game with anyone else.

What is a P-5 schedule? I tried to google it and nothing came up. BTW, years ago when Lloyd Carr was coach, Michigan had the toughest schedule in the NCAA. They found that carrying a tough schedule didn't carry any weight in the rankings when they had one loss, so they changed their approach to scheduling. It's a shame it has to be that way because we could end up with a lot more great football if it weren't. You'll notice Notre Dame has dropped Michigan from their early schedule.

Joined the UHHog for great photography interaction. Debates about football, politics, etc. is really a “downer.” Great photos of games is one thing...but this is DEPRESSING.
