I've had a CJ-5, and a 95 Grand Cherokee. Took the CJ down the Rubicon Trail with a bunch of guys from a place that specialize in Jeeps. We went 9 miles in and camped for the night. The CJ would go anywhere you pointed it. I put it on it's side once and had to walk home to call a friend with a CJ-7 to rescue me. The only thing that broke was a mirror. And I had just bought it the day before! Don't know about the new one's, but the older ones were the only vehicle with TRUE 4WD. Sure would like to get my hands on another CJ-5. Hard to find and expensive. So I'm stuck with my cookie cutter Camry.
