Plug your camera directly to your PC. You know the camera can see the files, use it to download them.

Agree...I had the same problem awhile back. Plugging the camera straight into the PC was the best way.

The fact that you have never seen good camera SW doe not make it so (or useful information) for anyone else - can we agree on that please?

Sure. Can we agree that I was stating a simple fact as it related to me and not the whole world?

Good for you, Sammie. Happy to learn your pictures aren't "lost", and all is well. Problems like that can be really frustrating. At least you didn't lack for suggested solutions.

That is for sure! IT'S good thing I can control my wine intake. 🍷

I read through 8 pages and and happy that you have the solution! I had a problem with my Nikon software reading my RAW files; I now download them directly without using the Nikon software. I'm glad it worked out for you. And, after 8 pages, I'm going to the next post!

Hello Tom. I have solved the problem. It was the software for my t7I. I thought it had downloaded correctly it didn't. So I started from scratch. The software from Canon has a publishing app and it looks to be very good. Once I had it a downloaded and hooked up my camera it started the download. It also transferred all photos I had on my computer. Downloading as we speak. I had HP app it didn't read the RAW images. I hate having a problem with my computer or my car! Thanks for your help it is truly appreciated.
