Gorgeous shots of a beautiful part of the country. Well done.

Glad you enjoyed viewing the highlites, Keldon! Have you been seeing the Northern Borealis where you are recently? Now that would be th icing on the cake for me to be able to photograph the 'Lights'!

Breathtaking shots, Diane! The light was perfect. That homestead sure is in a beautiful spot, and if I were a kid, I'd be wanting to climb that majestic tree.

I haven't been watching them lately but have certainly enjoyed them in the past.

Well, I've been to southern Utah several times but never to Northeast Utah! Did you explore the Native American Pteroglyphs and dinosaur bones up in the Price region? Isn't the Fantasy Canyon somewhere up there beyond Vernal--now that's a place I'd love to take a camera to!! Did you go there?

I didn't stop to explore much. I was short on time, but I did stop in Salt Lake City and toured Temple Square, including the Mormon Tabernacle while they were playing the famous organ.

I just love trees and can't pass up any that have 'character'! I always wonder how long they've been on the planet and what historic and weather events they've survived. Glad you liked the scenery in the warming sunlight.

Thanks so much, I appreciate your encouraging feedback, Carol. I am always struggling with the development of the colors since all the computer monitors out there render colors differently and I teeter between too much color and not enough. Glad to hear these images look good to you!

Beautiful set dmeyer.

Castle Valley was our destination after leaving Arches and we had some beautiful late afternoon lighting on the monuments. We started out going up the Castle Valley road to a small settlement with an old homestead, then followed Hwy 128 along the Colorado River until we could look back on the Fisher Towers. Next, we went up the road to the Fisher Towers Campground for a close-up of the towers, then took the road up to Professor Valley. The final shot was taken at the end of the Colorado River Pathway as we returned to Moab.

Wow Diane, these are absolutely excellent. I am glad you did this post today because I cannot find the post you did a couple of days or so ago. But I can see your Flickr link below so I am all set and now can see all your photos. If I recall, you are using Nikon and not Canon. ~FiddleMaker
