First, it is full FRAME, not full BODY, full body makes no sense.

Ditto! Full Figured or Plus Size :) = 2 six packs a day. I'd rather save for a 1DX than guzzle beer all day and get all puffy.

I'll sell you my 5dm2. I'm moving to the 5dm3 or the 1dx.

Paco, along with some others who've posted replies, I'm assuming you're looking for a full "frame" camera that has a larger sensor. I wanted better low light ISO performance and also a wider angle capability, so I recently got a refurbished* 5DMark2 body from Canon for about $1800. Reputable stores like Adorama, B&H and KEH often have that body as well. You're probably not going to find that full frame body for much less than I paid. A 7D has more features than your T1i but it won't be full frame. Two things to keep in mind:If you DO get a full frame body, remember that any EF-S lenses you currently have will NOT be usable with it. And any shortcomings of not-so-great glass will be more apparent in your images at the edges.
*(I prefer refurbished to new, for reasons not related to this thread.)

Why do you want a full frame? I have a ton of reasons for having one but not everyone needs one. Look at the old days of 110, 120/620, disk camera, aps-c (like the current "so-called" crop frame digitals, 4x5, 8x10. All of these fit a niche. Also, it you getting a full-frame 18 megapixel or better, probably should get better glass, which is a lot more expensive. Decide what you needs or future in photography is and what level you are at.

ok, first I'd like to thank everyone for some great insight, (I had two beers, thank you)LOL....Lenses...I have a Canon 100-400mm EF L IS 1:4.5-5.6, Tamron 60mm F/2, Tamron 18-270mm 1:3.5-6.3 DiII, CanonEF 17-40mm L 1:4 USM, (and then your standard bundle lenes 18-55mm and a zoom (I don't use these much lately)...I could go to about $1500.00 (if I have to spend more for a little better body then I wait a little longer). I had seen a better camera and read about the better functions and quality and I'm starting to really like taking pictures, so I was looking to go better to get a better end product (photos). I believe I have some decent lenses. thank again ...you guys are great!
I have recently seen the 5D Mark II body for 1900.00 new. I have had one for 3 years and it is a wonderful camera. You have several lenses that will work on it so I would consider that model. You can probably find a refurbished or and excellent + camera for around your price of $1500. you would not be sorry for getting this camera. Good luck in finding one and good shooting.

thank you very much! now I just have to keep my eyes open for a good deal.
Good luck to you. I might add that I have a job that requires 4' x 7' prints and they are always tack sharp. I use the 24 105 F4L lens. Your 17 - L lens will do the same thing for you. I will use this camera for many years to come providing something doesn't happen to it. By the way I have an XSI as a back up camera and have never had to use it as a back up. -:(
Why not go to a pro camera like a 1D mark III. not full frame, but one of the best cameras on the market. 10 FPS and never fail perfect pictures.
I'm predigest as I have one and most of the photographers in my area have them and love them. They have a high shutter usage amount 300,000, so will last longer, and very long lasting battery 2,200 shots per charge.

Thank you, I would love to but I believe it is way tooo far out of my range, isn't it somewhere in the $8,000.00 spending range?
used ones like mine with few hits go for around $1,800-2,000. can get in camera dealers for $2,400 around. remember this is a 1D mark II, not a 1Ds Mark II. those go for around [went for around] $8,000 new. The 1 D series is waterproof [can't submerge, but if equipped with L glass can shoot in rain, and the fastest FPS camera on the market in it's class. great for sports or the shot you just got to have, but now many variations.
