Refurbished 7D at Adorama. Keep looking and you may find it for 1,229. 00 Just like new shutter at "0". Or the New rebel 4!
Good luck!

Hi, If you have a broken Canon around you can get a refurb through their loyalty program at a even better price than the Adorama price. Adorama does give you a year warranty through them but if you buy a 7D from Canon Adorama will still sell you a 1 year warranty for a very fair price. If there is a Canon you want other than the 7D you can probably get one. Have fun and keep shootin'. Mike

neither of these are full frame cameras.

full frame..you will have to go to a 5dmk2, 5dmk3 or the 1d series.

thank you all, I went to Adorama and checked what they have, and it's a nice selection. I also went to B&H camera, but I did a search for Canon Full body dslr and they have listed the EOS T2i and the T3i....how can this be? also EOS 5D Mark II Digital Camera but big bucks.

No. The only full frames by Canon at this time are the 5D series cameras or the 1DS camera. The other 1D bodies are 1.3x crop factor.

So I don't know what your budget is but the new 5D mkIII is over $3000. You can get a 5D mkII for a lot less or you cold pick up a used 5D classic. The 1Ds mkIV is the most expensive camera Canon has at about $7000. By July Canon will be releasing a much anticipated 1DX which is also full frame but quite a hefty price tag at $6800.

First, it is full FRAME, not full BODY, full body makes no sense. It also depends on the individual website as to how they are listing the different models. In B&H's case, they list full frame as "full-frame", if you search for that including the hyphen you will see the right choices.

I bought a broken Canon, on Ebay, for $10.00 and used it to take advantage of Canon's Loyalty program. I asked them before I did it and they said they didn't care where the camera came from, LOL

Hi, Paco. There's no simple answer to your question since you must consider several factors that you haven't mentioned (e.g., budget, current lenses you own, your primary subjects, etc.). The most likely answer is to get the Canon 5D Mk III, but for $3500, it is quite pricey. For a lot less, you can get a new 5D Mk II which is still a great camera. If you want to go the used-camera-body route, I would suggest a 5D Mk II, but not a 5D (too old).

Recognize that any lenses you currently own with an "EF-S" designator will not work properly on a full-sensor body. So, you will have to replace those lenses as well.

Lastly, going "full-sensor" is a major decision, and, in the long run, you will not regret it. It will enable you to use wide- and super-wide angle lenses to their fullest capabilities.

If you can afford the new 5D MKIII then get it, you won't regret it, but if not get a 5D MKII it is still a great camera . I have the 5D MKII and love it but am planning on upgrading to the 5D MKIII in October because I want to consolidate my cameras down to one and right now I have a 7D also.

You could also check the used camera or refurbished cameras on Canon or Adorama, B&H or other reputable sellers, they often have very good full-frame cameras for sale out there that may be older models but may be what you need as you transition to more professional camera bodies.
