Hi Bill
I am back from the back country of WA and have Internet service again. I tried to look at the videos from your link but the link did not work. It may be that you have removed the videos by this time.
Weird! I can click on it and it plays. I've not deleted it.

Bill- I tried again just now and I get a "this page not found". However Bob loaded my videos and I can see them through his link and they run fine. Yes- too weird.
I will contact Flickr and see what the issue is with loading video for me as still all of my video is grayed out (on my computer) and thus not loadable to Flickr whether I try to drag and drop or browse. Anything that is a Jpeg will load as expected.

Thanks for everyone's help.

Bill- did you find any costal birds in Oregon? I am still in Ocean Shores and heading out to find costal birds myself.
Oregon is pretty scarce on birds and ducks inland right now- migration starts in October. Although the Egrets have made a grand appearance locally.
I am loving the video on the Gx8. Very clear and bright. I am also getting better and better with the 100-400 mm lens. Although I shoot at practically any bird I see for practice, my best efforts are those birds that are within a reasonable distance.

I'm a little frustrated right now. I've been involved in an RV owners club for a decade. I'm in Newport for a "rally". The social stuff is getting in my way of "taking my camera for a walk". Other than seagulls, one hawk circling high overhead and a pack of feral cats, I've seen no wildlife. I can sure hear the seals barking!

Do you have a Mac or a PC? I read on a google search that people have had this problem with files greyed out when trying to upload to flickr from a Mac.

Here's the thread. Hope it helps. Page one is about the extension not being added to the file. The videos had the .mp4 extension when I downloaded them, but maybe my PC added them? Page two talks about some plugins that could cause the problem.
