What you "see" in the most ordinary things truly amazes me.

Bill I really enjoy and appreciate your thinking and how you have the ability to make it visual, that is special. I cannot do it in photography, but can in writing. ''Life was made to live''...

Isn't it wonderful we are all so different with different abilities and eyes that "see" differently too. It would be so dull if we were the same.
Now I do not want to become boring with Islands stuff but these are today and I shall be keeping them well conserved because eventually they will beworth a fortune.....as within 2000 years these islands will no longer exist

Spent a week bumming around the Magdelan Islands of Quebec whose history goes back to the 1500's. A VERY special and unique place as you will see as FS goes on....The colours of the houses are a big part of their interesting history...Thanx Irene......

Hey that reminds me we haven't seen Simon lately! Where's he???
Some photos I took this past week around the edge of the apartment complex where I live. Living at the edge of the city surrounded by soybean fields and wetlands has its benefits.
Bindweed
Blue Vervain
Buds on Joe-pye Weed
Early Goldenrod
Michigan Lily (also known as Turk's Cap)
Swamp Milkweed
The sky at the end of yesterday.

I enjoyed these scenes RR, beautiful flowers and pretty house colors and scenery.
Overflow scenes from the Tall Ships Fest in Fairport Harbor, Ohio.

These studies are among the best I've seen of your work, RR!
And what a terrific argument for the importance of color in photography. My preference is for black/white, but that wouldn't have near the appeal of these images, especially in a group.
Out of curiosity, is the dominant language French or English in these islands?

Been a "lean" photo week...but I saved a few for Free Sunday. It has been a very hot humid week. Tried to convey that when I processed a field of wildflowers and some grasses. Did some zooming and double exposures for layering.
Hi, Pat! Maybe this Bavarian Bonanza will help you cool off!
