Nice scene. I have a nice aluminum flagpole out front that will never rust. In NY, they cannot charge sales tax on a state of federal flag. Whenever I buy one, I'm always ready for a fight. I guess the computer knows about that law, too.

Speaking of flags, have you noticed how many buildings have the American flag displayed on the wrong side? I used to comment to the people there, but it never made any difference. As you look at the building, it should be on your left.

Oh yes, and upside down, after sundown with no light of its own. And on and on. I guess Im getting too old to care.

I love to see the flag in waving in the breeze. I despise those that mount a flag incorrectly on a vehicle. A flag UNFURLED on a vehicle should not be driven more than 15 mph! Yes, that is correct--15 mph. The ONLY two places a flag may be mounted on a vehicle is the right front fender or if it is a large flag it may be secured to the chassis.
The American Legion, for one, has a set of rules for Flag Etiquette.
Driving a vehicle at highway speed with the American Flag whipping in the wind is basically vandalizing that flag in my opinion.
