Join a local photo club. Lots of resources and people in your situation. On line stuff is great, but a poor substitute for some one-on-one learning. Sometimes a relationship with a mentor will help minimize the frustration level when learning something new.

I personally have helped a number of people on UHH. Send me a PM if you would like to know more.

Lynda.com and KelbyOne.com both offer well-structured courses: either online or on DVD.

Look at Phlearn a lot of free videos and very easy to follow
I run the videos on iPad and follow along on computer

Look up Elephorn tutorial by Hal Schmidt Don't buy,go to the free part It is very structured. It looks imposing but short lessons& he makes it fun, it uses LR4 but LRCC is almost the same.

As a couple of others have advised... Anthony Morganti (on youtube) You will feel that he's sitting right beside you giving you a private lesson!

The only local club I have found does not offer any mentoring - at least not that I have found, but I'll keep searching. Thanks for the insight

Some tutorials, and use it a lot. However, don't just go clicking a mouse all over the place. Think about what you are doing while you work through tutorial steps, etc.
