I am not very happy with windows 10 I updated from a windows 7. Its ashamed that windows 7 could not just be able to be updated. Windows 10 Is just plain too complicated. Some of my friends have discarded windows 10 for Mac books.
After I updated I realized there was no word Processor. Like windows 7 had. How do other people like the change?

I'm fine with it. No problems at all. So far.

If you're unhappy with your upgrade to Windows 10 you have 30 days to go back to Windows 7.

I don't like how it suggests things for you, which means its tracking me even though I have just about everything switched off.

I delete browsing history often which eliminates most of it but slows things down slightly.

Other than that I like it and think it is easier than windows 7 ever was.

Win 10 is a better system, but it does things differently then Win 7 and earlier systems. Win 8.1 is quite similar and that too has a learning curve. I've had most every Windows OS back to Win 3.1. Didn't like 8.1 and hated 10, but you just have to use it and use it until you understand how it works. Now, I like the system.

Wordpad is still there. Type it in search, then pin it to the taskbar, by right clicking.

When you can't find something you think should be there, try Google. In most cases everything Win 7 had is still there.

A couple of things might have to come from the app store and might be free.

A little research is so much more rewarding than not knowing.

There are also a couple of free Office Suites and Graphics programs that are very good.

The only "word processor" Windows ever had was Notepad. It was never intended to replace Microsnot Word or any of the other full blown word processors out there. The only way to get Word is to buy MS Office.

Check out System Reset. Maybe you can go back to Win 7

I can send you a real way not to be tracked but I would need an e-mail to do so. (Programs and print screens to show what to kill)

I tried it earlier when it went public and hated it, ended up rolling back to Windows 7 Pro 64. The program was just too flawed when it first went public. I just loaded it again today and things seem to be a bit better. It still has a huge bug, well for me it is. In Win 7 and XP ( skipped Vista) when you plug in a USB device the program will prompt you for what you intend to do, Win 10 asks once and uses that answer without a prompt when subsequent USB devices are plugged in. My biggest gripe is when you go to unplug that USB device you plugged in and there is no "safely remove USB device" icon to click on. I set the program up to via system settings to show the icon in the task bar but it won't show the icon at all. There is a work around but it just pisses me off for this to not work. Other than this the program seems OK......not fond of edge...still using IE11 which works in this latest build of 10

That is not a bug, that is a feature. You can set it however you want.

I have discarded Windows 10 out of my main office but I have it on my laptop as everything there works as it is supposed too.

Absolutely wrong. The original Windows also had Write, which was then changed to WordPad. It has all the basic features a home user needs.

It looks like this:
