Thanks Linda, but I have other captures that show them quite a distance apart. Will they move away from the nest as they mature? This is terrible---I thought that they were making love and now find out instead that they were making war! lol

Wow, great treetop shots and there is definitely a heated discussion going on. I didn't realize they ever puffed up to that extent! Winners for me!

Now these do like like adults. I knew I should have waited 'til an expert commented - lol. And no doubt folks who live there know whether nesting has just started, or youngsters are already nearly fledged :oops:

These are excellent captures, it amazes me how they all fit in the nest. Last year when we were in Florida we saw 4 big youngsters in the nest squabbling, with the adults sitting in the tree! :thumbup: :D

Thanks, very much for looking Sylvia and as it turns out I think that these are two big youngsters squabbling. I wasn't familiar with the timing of the Florida nesting season and sadly mistook war for love!
