Thanks very much Greg and really appreciate the kind words! Yes, when I saw that interplay going on, I just took for granted it was love at first sight, but later learned it was rivalry between two almost adult siblings---war instead of love; what a let down!
Shouldn't be to much of a let down Corky, you got to see the GBH's playing, learning and having fun. Always a good thing, and you got some great shots to go along with it
A beautiful series Corky. I love shots of the wading birds. Nice job.

Thanks, Greg and it was an experience not easily forgotten--- to have seen those big birds in the treetops and have had a lot of fun joking about it. Beside that, as daylight began to break to see several trees loaded with such a variety of roosting birds, even though most fledged while it was still fairly dark, that was enough for me. I took 5 or 6 shots at different times as they left but had the iso on 1600 trying to keep them from being to grainy and should have put it on 6400 to give several more stops. Still I opened them up enough in Lightroom to be able to make out the white species anyway. Would you be kind enough to help me with the identity of two species. The first two were taken South of Fort Pierce at the Savannas Recreation Area (550acres and 34 campsites) a great place that we camped at for 2 nights. I think this bird is a juvenile Little blue Heron, but I have been known to make a mistake a time or two! lol The last one was taken at Black Point Wildlife Drive on Merritt Island and I don't have a clue----seems to be setting against something white or perhaps it is partially setting on it--- sorry the image isn't better! Thanks very much and take care!
Thanks very much Doc, and really appreciate you looking and is great to hear from you! Take care!

Great shots Corky, looks like you found some good spots. Right on with the immature little blue, and the third is a tricolored heron, very well done

Thanks, so much for your help, Greg --we really appreciate and need the assistance sometimes. This Tricolored looked so different from the other shots of them that we took, but Ellen noticed that no other species had this particular coloring near the base of it's bill.
