I'm curious and can't seem to get any answers on What would happen if a US president was born in another country? Would he be immedietly impeached? What about any laws that he signed while in office? What about all his pay, benefits. Cost incurred while he was in office? What about the FBI agents in charge of his background? Bottom line, would everything he was involved with be null and void? And please notice that I'm not naming a certain president, I mean a president in general. Thanks

What should happen and what would happen are not the same. Spineless politicians and judges allow our country's laws to be ignored and trampled every day.

It's not WHAT you know, it's WHO you know. For those politicians and judges who choose to do nothing, they should get the boot also. After all, they only THINK they're above the law.

There is, actually, a case almost identical to the one you cite. It started long ago with a carefully chosen education. Special favors were called in to gain admission to schools which would not otherwise have been available, and funding provided by Muslim oil barons from the Middle East. By the time everything was out in the open, too much had taken place to be repealed.
What a coincidence you should bring this up...?

Hi picturedude: In a word Yes. The Constitution requires that the President be a natural born citizen of the United States. Keeping that in mind then all of the above should happen, if a person who was not a natural born citizen were elected. There is also the possibility that if the person as well as anyone who had knowingly participated in what would then amount to fraud, against the American people, could face persecution for that fraud. What would actually happen might be an entirely different matter. Unfortunately the odds any funds being recovered are practically nil. Any and all laws that had signed into being would technically be null and void. All things said we would have a very big legal mess on our hands and the Vice President would become the new President, that is they too were a natural born citizen.

That's just idiotic, I'm sorry. Nothing you say has any basis in fact, you're just spouting utter nonsense. Show me where you get any one of your facts.

I believe in the case mentioned, the individual's school documents show he attended on a foreign student scholorship, that the individual's birth certificate says he was born in a country that didn't exist at the time of his birth, and that he visited the far east on a passport of a different country other than the U.S. Just a few facts to support the case in question.

"I believe". What a load of c**p. Prove any single thing you allege in your statement. I dare you. It simply cannot be done. Your statement about the foreign student scholarship is a load of c**p. Just check out this link:

Honestly, I cannot believe this is still being debated. How come no one ever questioned John McCain's citizenship when it was shown he was born in PANAMA!!!! If you don't believe that, check out this link:
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/11/us/politics/11mccain.html

I know I'm going to raise a real firestorm here, but I firmly believe that this whole "birther" thing is about race. John McCain was born in Panama, he gets a free ride. Obama was born in Hawaii, and he's suspect. Hmmmmm......

I'm not going into a heated debate with you are anyone else on this forum. For you to claim this is a racial issue is pure nonsense and C**P. I find it a personal assault on my integrety. For your information, I am a registered Independent and Constitutionalist and have never voted a straight party line. This will be the first election that I plan to do so.

Regarding McCain, he was born in Panama as a result of his father, a ranking naval officer and natural born citizen, being stationed there which is within the law and the Constitution.

Regarding the individual being talked about here and travel to a foreign country on a foreign passport, here are questions that need to be answered:
Q: Did he travel to Pakistan in 1981, at age 20?
A : Yes, by his own admission.
Q: What passport did he travel under?
A: There are only three possibilities.
1) He traveled with a U.S. Passport,
2) He traveled with a British passport, or
3) He traveled with an Indonesia passport.
Q: Is it possible that Obama traveled with a U.S. Passport in 1981?
A: No. It is not possible. Pakistan was on the U.S. State Department's "no travel" list in 1981.
Conclusion: When Obama went to Pakistan in 1981 he was traveling either with a British passport or an Indonesian passport.
If he were traveling with a British passport that would provide proof that he was born in Kenya on August 4, 1961, not in Hawaii as he claims. And if he were traveling with an Indonesian passport that would tend to prove that he relinquished whatever previous citizenship he held, British or American, prior to being adopted by his Indonesian step-father in 1967.

Regarding school records: The group "Americans for Freedom of Information" has Released copies of President Obama's college transcripts from Occidental College .... , the transcript school indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship.

I'd copy his birth certificates (the actual and the fabricated) here that were released but do not know how to do so without printing and then scanning and I don't want to waste my time, and not much more of my breath. The Supreme Court has these documents and I'm sure you can find them on the internet.

All that being said, I wish you well with your beliefs and sincerely hope you'd respect the beliefs of others. We have in our history a civil war that defines what Americans can do to Americans when reasonable people are not permitted to resolve their beliefs and issues in a reasonable manner. God bless America and God save America! Goodbye and Good night!

I am glad I am retired. I would have great difficulty serving my country under such a man.
