This home inspection occurred in the spring and I happen to have my camera with me while looking at some hanging baskets. Noticed some movement and quickly took the shots of this Prothonotary Warbler home looking. Unfortunately she left without signing a contract. I cannot really blame her, because when I later checked I found the old nest had not been removed, and also ants had taken up residence, but fortunately she did nest next door.

really nice color on the bird and texture of the wood. I'm dying to know what the left side of the license plate says. gary

So glad you liked and thanks for looking, Gary. The license plate reads BJS-BIRD and was a gift from our Nephew, which made it using wood that came from a old barn in southwest Virginia
