Good Morning..
I have a Sony A6000. I purchased with the 2 kit lenses but I really would like to have just one walk around lens. I have looked around and found the following. Just wanted to know from those that have the A6000 if you have had any experience with either of these lenses. Good, Bad and or Ugly.. Thanks in advance.

Sony E18-200mm F3.5-6.3 (Motorized) SEL18200
Sony E18-200mm F3.5-6.3 SEL18200LE
Sony FE 24-240mm F3.5-6.3 (Full Frame)
Tamron 18-200 F3.5-6.3

Hello. I bought the 24-240 Lens, it is Full-Frame what makes it on the A-6000 a 36-360 Lens. It is a nice and Sharp Lens but it is very heavy, so I gave it back. I used it on the A-7 Sony Camera,
good Luck

I don't have any of those lenses...instead got the Sony/Zeiss 16-70 f/4 to use as my walk around lens and love this combo.

I had the first one on the list, the SELP18200. I think the power zoom would be better for video than still photography.

There are 2 non-power zoom Sony 18-200 lenses.
SEL18200 and SEL18200LE.

I remember reading one website that felt that the SEL18200LE was built by Tamron and was the same lens badged as Sony. Might save you a few pennies.

I have the SEL18200 and love it. I have heard that the LE version is not as good.

I have the kit lens and the 55-210 which I carry all the time. I also have a 55, 1/8 that I use for portraits.

I also have the SEL18200 and just love it. Images are very sharp. I also have heard that the LE version is not sharp at all, so stay away from that one. I bought the SEL18200 used thru KEH and it is in mint condition. It is my walk around lens now.

All of those 18 - 200's are big heavy lenses. I have found the best walk-around, on a crop camera, is 18 to 55 or thereabouts. It gives you moderate wide to short tele, and most are fairly light and compact.

I have owned the newer version of the 18-200 for 2-3 years. All such lenses have trade-offs-- barrel distoration at its widest, fall off in sharpness at its longest, etc. They are minimal with the Sony and if you know that going in, you will be fine.

I use mine on the NEX 7 and find the balance is comfortable.
