Heck...make it two cans. One for each hand. I've noticed that ladybugs don't get into the house too much, but those d**m Asian ones will, especially in the fall if someone leaves the patio door open. They seek warmth in the fall and if not croaked, it's going to be a problem in the spring. I had an issue with them a few years back. They didn't get into the house but there was a whole colony/cluster (whatever they're called) in my garage that came in and overwintered behind some boards. The vacuum cleaner took care of them. Asians will be a yellow/orange stain once squashed. They are quite a problem here in central Wisconsin. 8-)

I thought it was, "If it moves, shoot it, and if it doesn't, paint it." I think there was a "Salute it" in there somewhere, too. I once saluted my lieutenant when he was driving his VW while holding an ice cream cone. He almost killed himself trying to salute back.

Aw Hell, MT Shooter has it right. On his reply/profile he says: When in doubt, shoot it again. I agree, If using a camera or not. (I know the tree-huggers are probably having fits about this now.)    8-)

Looked like a katydid to me, too. Now I have to go look up stink bugs.
Those aphids look hungry. I found spraying soapy water works well on them, but glad you got the pic first!

The awful orange ladybugs are actually Multi-colored Asian Lady beetles (and they bite). Native Ladybugs are red and do not bite humans.
Asian, European, and native ladybird beetles come in several different "spot" patterns, as well as solid colors. You need a score card to keep track. (And as an amateur entomologist, I never read about any ladybird beetle biting people).

It appears to be a katydid.

Ok. So they are actually Multi-colored Asian Lady Beetles?? I've only heard them called Asian ladybugs. Seems like a common mistake. Wow. I have alot of time on my hands, and between you and MT Shooter, I've learned volumes, (OldTimer, Ian/Tilly, Dirtpusher, Sarge, Sinatraman also) not to mention all of us other mortals who share advice. Getting back to subject at hand....I also have never had the regular Bug as mentioned ever bite me, but I do know a beetle left a mark. Perhaps the red marks were from its digestive juices left after it got squished. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. It helps.
