Excellent work Jerry! I, too, have thought about ways to recycle old cameras. Someone gave me a box full of cheap/old '35's that he couldn't muster the courage to pitch in the dumpster. I've toyed with the thought of making bookends, adding weight somehow but they're all still gathering dust.

Jerry...
Great Idea here....
The Argus I already have -- However = My Argus is still a working camera and I still put film in it from time to time and use it.
I bought the Argus C-3 with my first paycheck when I was in high school (1964) for 15.00 U.S.D. I used it on the school newspaper as the photographer for the school and did a few of the yearbook photographs as well.
I think that I shall keep it as a camera for a while longer :-)
An innovative lamp. Have you considered using a small soft box or umbrella for a lampshade or diffuser?
Jerry, what a cool lamp. you could take some old photo's ,some mod podge to attach to shade. it would really look cool. it would be decoupaged, although I have never done it on a lampshade, I have done it on many other things. look on you tube. deb
A fine example of photographic lighting :)
Jerry: WOW!!! what great craftsmanship !! Just what I would expect from you. Very creative. I envy any who, like you, knows what to do and how to do it. There are many of us out here who own old cameras, but lack the knowledge and/or skill. You should turn your skill into a profitable hobby.

Jerry,
You definitely had fun thinking, planning, and putting that together!
I'm sure you'll dust it lovingly.
Bonzer job!
