I thought of that, but the combination of electricity and all that metal made me nervous. Also, I'd have to stand up to turn it on. This way, I can just hit the switch on the panel and get light.

Use cable release or remote. LOL

I've seen a phot lampshade somewhere on line. The pictures (8x10) are slipped into clear plastic pockets around thevoutsidevof the shade. The shade material being dense, light did nr shiw through it and did not ruin burn out the picture quality. The light shined up at the ceiling and down at the base only.
