That would depend on the choices presented by the sub-command dial.......Salt, pepper, BBQ sauce, gravy, ketchup, etc........

Mine was made in Thailand...Good thing that's one of my favorites.
I need to get a Rajah view camera now.

D70, D80, D90, D7000, D7100, D600, D610.......they all have "scenes" mode selectable on the shooting mode dial. I just always ignored it.

I just looked at my Nikons. You are absolutely correct (of course you knew that). I have never paid any attention to that mode on the dial. Thanks for the information.

Darn it there goes my new Nikon job.

Come on, Bull, for most of us here, everything is "kinda new". Like horseless carriages, telephones, sliced bread, trees, dirt....

I've never tried scene modes with my D7100. Seems the best way to turn a good camera into a point and shoot trough presets. Maybe if you're in doubt they might help if you gotta shoot right now, but in that scenario I just go to auto.

Mine do, i got a Canon 60d. Personally i wish they would do away with those and put some other functions in it possibly that the "pro" cameras have. program wise ofcourse.

The only scene mode around my house is when my wife sees the big brown truck pull up and I'm dancing from one foot to the other.

The scene then, here at my house is my wife yelling "You Ass........!"
She knows where those gold(yellow) and black boxes come from.

What are you wanting?

My Canon 7D and 5D MK III don't have a Scene Mode.

It's not there because you don't need it. If you think you do, then you certainly don't need cameras this advanced.

I don't think I had, "scene" mode on my Nikon D70, D90 D7000, or D800. I think that is because for Nikon users "Every scene in life is a start to a perfect photograph".

Gosh darn. I wish I worked for Nikon. Maybe Hallmark even.
