What are you wanting?

My Canon 7D and 5D MK III don't have a Scene Mode.

Nikon D800, no "scenes" necessary, just great images!

I don't think I had, "scene" mode on my Nikon D70, D90 D7000, or D800. I think that is because for Nikon users "Every scene in life is a start to a perfect photograph".

Gosh darn. I wish I worked for Nikon. Maybe Hallmark even.

Hallmark headquarters is right across the street from where I work.
I assisted there some back in the 90's.
One of their studio buildings is an old school.
The classrooms are individual studios and the gym is one huge studio.
I know the cameras they used didn't have scene modes.

I have only a few questions. Do you like BBQ? Is your lovely wife a good cook? What time is dinner?

Yes....my favorite BBQ is from North Carolina.
(Lightning flashes- striking me down...)

I don't think any of the upper-end cameras have scene modes.

One of my favorite cousins lives on the Missouri side of KC and serves excellent BBQ. It may not be as good as the NC kind but will do until I ever get back to NC. Let me see, if I start driving right now from the CA coast and if my truck can keep up a sustained 140 MPH I should be there tonight at 6:00. Maybe a little later.

If I ever owned a camera that had scene modes, I never used any of them.

D70, D80, D90, D7000, D7100, D600, D610.......they all have "scenes" mode selectable on the shooting mode dial. I just always ignored it.

Just checked and yep, the D7000 has it.
I never used it... or program mode either for that matter.

I do have a question since food was brought up earlier...What would using a "food" setting do? Add seasoning?

That would depend on the choices presented by the sub-command dial.......Salt, pepper, BBQ sauce, gravy, ketchup, etc........

I didn't think there were cameras made that didn't have scene modes.
My 5dmkll has scene modes, but they are ONLY accessible if you're shooting in Jpeg. They can't be used in RAW mode.
I'll bet every Canon has them. ;-)

When I was a kid, my mother always warned me, "Don't make a scene." :D

I never use them on my cameras. Too complicated! :D
