Dirty Harry's hand prints are all over this one. He is the force behind this not to mention it would be convenient for a shooting war to break out for certain jackals in high places. Never let a catastrophe go to waste.

The Federalist Papers show in several instances that the founders believed that it was dangerous to the State and to the individual for the Federal Gov't to "own" and excessive amount of land.

WTF are you talking about Sarg? I will give you that in the early reporting that I saw the rancher was suggesting that the federal government had no reason to collect grassing fees that the land belonged to the state and the county which is not correct, additional reporting has made it clear that the land belongs to the federal government, what the farmer was expressing was his sentiment regarding long established land practices and the unfairness of the federal government owning some 84% of the land of Nevada.

As far as free speech goes Sarg!!!!!! The ranchers are being cordoned off in to so called fenced in free speech zones.... We only see those when the powers that be want to shut down free speech, during occupy the left stood up and fought for the rights of the protesters to not be interfered with as they had the right to protest any where and every where as it is a first amendment right... Funny how when the protest is centered on government abuse and largess somehow these same rights don't seem to apply. SEIU can protest anywhere at any time.... These ranchers, not so much.

I am sure that I know more about our constitution than you do Sarg.... even though it is a small document I am sure that you never understood it for a moment and I am quite sure that you probably never thought of reading the federalist papers or any other of the writings of the framers at or near the time of adoption....

I am getting a laugh out of you calling me dumb.... now clean your keyboard that dribble leaves a nasty mess when it dries up.

   One thing Ole Sarg forgets is the U.S. Constitution does not for one iota limit the rights of the American people. The Constitution limits the rights of the Federal Government to protect the citizens. Somehow the present administration has forgotten that important point.

Why don't you folks in Nevada initiate a recall vote on Harry Reid? Just a thought.

Thanks, I was just about to post this info. I heard it on Fox News this afternoon. What a bunch of crap the Feds pulled and look at the cost to the tax payer. Talk about wasted funds.

Oregon 53.1%
Idaho 50.2%
Arizona 48.1%
California 45.3%

I suspect that once the militia types have left that the feds will come back in in the dark of the night and deal with the poor old rancher....

I think that the time is drawing near for an American Spring...

But that is just me.....
