Beautiful images Regis. You say you'll get better, I wish I was that good. 600mm - were they hand held? If so even more amazing.
Thank you, infocus, All my shots are hand held. I haven't used a tripod or monopod for over 5 years because I find more freedom to get those quick, fleeting shots of wildlife before they disappear. To each his own.

Fabulous photos, the only people hating them are the Sigma reps.
Thank you, Joe. You could have a point there. I am sure Sigma will respond to the competition in the future if they want to stay in business.
Great photos! I just ordered one of those lenses from B&H a couple of days ago. Don't know when they will ship yet, (they are on back order everywhere) but am looking forward to trying it out!
Get better???? Can't get any better than these. They're excellent!

Two days ago on a sunny but windy day I took these 3 Seagull photos over the Coeur d' Alene Lake beach area which ranged from 350' to 650'. I am still practicing with this new Tamron lens for BIF photos. I'll get better as time goes on.
All photos were shot at 600mm.
Truly great shots! Steady and clear.
I can just imagine the learning curve associated with the lens. People are going to have to spend the time and effort to learn the lens. You're ahead of us.
Any way you'd be willing to post something full size OOC for us pixel peepers?

Just saw these. I don't know how you think you could get any better than these. They're great, Regis.   Looking for some insight in how to shoot BIF. Do you shoot aperture priority, shutter priority, all manual, or what? Thanks.

These are excellent shots, Regis! I love all of them, but the last one is stunning with that blue sky!
