Whose idolizing? All that is being pointed out is that we have a miserable excuse for a president. :-D

"idolizing" whom to whom?
Doddy

It sums it up perfectly bcheary. But what can the west do?. One serious newspaper over here..the "i" ran a story on the problem, it sums the story up saying barring going to war with Russia!!! what can we do, as sanctions would hurt us as much as them (especially Europe, as we rely on much of our gas supplies from them). It would be interesting to see what other hoggers think.
You know, people are still mad that Eisenhower did not come to the rescue of the Hungarian revolution in 1956. I presume that the commanding general of D-Day knew just a little about the logistics of sending and supplying an army over such a distance.
We may be frustrated over Putin, but what can be done? I don't think Ike would go to war over it any more than Reagan would have.
Ironic, isn't it, that the world went to war when Germany invaded Poland, then at the end of the war Russia occupied Poland and wouldn't give it back. All those millions of deaths and Poland wasn't a free country when it was all over.

True Doddy. It will be interesting to see what will eventuate. Too bad Iron Maggie wasn't still around. It would have been interesting to see her take on the situation. :-D
