Which is best?

Thank you very much to every one who took the time to look at my pictures and give their opinion. Much appreciated, with 19 preferring picture 1 and 9 picture 2 and one or two liked both I think it will be no 1. It is a club comp with members voting, we do it once a month with set subjects. It is to get us thinking and going out to get pictures. Once again many thanks to every one. :thumbup: :thumbup:

Thanks oldgabby for looking and giving me your comment, I too like the background on no 2 but did think it may have been a bit overpowering for the glass and apple, hence putting them both on UHH to get feed back.

Nice shots, the both of them. I love the painted effect of number two, but agree the background is a tad distracting, especially where the wineglass is concerned. That shot would be my personal preference, but I'd enter the first in the competition, as most folks don't care for the overly artsy in photos, and you have to play to the judges.

Hi Treepusher Thanks for looking and giving your opinion. I too liked the background on no 2 but agree it is a bit distracting. Will have to try it on another picture. Sadly you are correct in saying that most folk do not like the artsy in pictures and there are a lot in the club who do not. Still on saying that it would be no fun if every one liked the same type of pictures. :lol:
