#1 appeals to the traditionalists, #2 to the adventuresome. I vote for #2. Much more interesting. For your contest, it will depend upon who the judges are.

#1 has a lot more depth and has more subtle shades of green which are less confusing for the eyes. The background in #2 is too distracting.

#1 - I like treatment, and the contrast for the two shades of green. Good luck in the contest. Much better than that close-up of the WW II era Jeep you might have considered. ;<}
