Canon Beach Oregon

This is a favorite hangout when I feel like a leisurely walk along the beach. Oregon beaches aren't crowded at all and are always pristine. Canon Beach has a huge monolith named Haystack Rock. It's a landmark and during really low tides can be reached from the beach. There's a huge cave that people visit as well as additional rock formations that rise out of the ocean.

Thank you all for your comments. I have an unfair advantage, I can go there any day of the year when lighting and conditions are perfect. It's just 65 miles from where I live, less than a gallon of gas on my scooter. :)

Been there many times and love this stretch of our beautiful
Pacific ocean. I live in southern Oregon so love that part also but I think the northern coast has more pictures in it. You have done an excellent job capturing the beauty of Cannon Beach.

Hey Bob,
I don't hate you but do you think you could rent me your house for a year or so? I would love to live in that area.
I love the second one the best. Colors and the reflection on the water are fantastic.
As a foot note: I will need to use that scooter.

Be careful what you ask for. I live in a tiny studio apartment 13.5 ft x 13.5 ft or 182 square feet. It's basically a big closet. The location and adornment of my apartment complex however, make it ideal.
