I am still partial to Sig Sauer and Walther firearms. Although, it is a good thing for Glock that we recycle our plastic milk bottles.

I also suspect that when all of today's glocks are recycled into milk bottles or park benches, some of the original 1911 colt 45s will still be operable.

True. They are usually safe queens or down with malfunction stoppages and don't get shot as much as Glocks so they should last forever if you keep them oiled.

Maybe I am just making excuses. Just seems a pity that "America's gun" isn't an American Gun

Glock 19 9mm 9x19 15 round Mag. I love it. Easy to hold, easy to shoot, easy to take apart and clean. And with the light attachment, it is one sexy looking gun.

I see it as just another one of America's guns although my Glock is made in Austria and not in the USA.

I read it as "America's gun of choice". Personally I favor the more traditional Colt six shooters of cowboy legend. I have a Ruger Vaquero .44 magnum made in USA which is a mighty purty handgun even though it kicks like a bitch!

Here is a photo of my CCW. It's small and light weight enough that I'm barely aware that I have it. It does not print. I added the RMR red dot sight to help with both rapid target acquisition and accuracy. When loaded with 40 caliber hollow points with short barrel fast burning powder, it's a formidable weapon. When I first bought the gun I was not as accurate with it as I was with bigger Glock 23. After I added the extension to the magazine, I found I was just as accurate with the 27 as I am with my 23. It gives me a place to rest my pinky and squeeze the weapon firmly.

A lot of people do not understand what a 'Red Dot" is and confuse it with a LASER. It is not a Laser. After trying a lot of different holsters I discovered the Mic and Mexican carry. I'm very content with what I now have.

Oh yes, I added the rubber houge grip to the handle of the 27 because when you fire a bullet that powerful in a gun that tiny it stings your hand a bit. The rubber grip eliminates the sting.

With the extension added to the magazine, the Glock 27 holds a total of 11 rounds. I hope to God I never need more than that. (Or any for that matter!)

Glock 27
Glock 27...

Glock 27 and Glock 23
Glock 27 and Glock 23...

Actually, I confused the "red dot" with a Leica, not a laser
