My favorite Jewish joke - Three boys were getting ready to go home for their schools Christmas break and were talking about their traditions. The Protestant boy said the all sat around the fireplace and sang Christmas Carioles, the Catholic boy said we do about the same but we sit around he Christmas tree. Hi GWR 100, I have to agree with you, some of the anti Brit comments are very offensive, however they usually come from a small group of US members headed by "Wabbit". Here in England is usually referred to as a "Stupid Tosser" or similar! He is known as a police hater on here, just ignore him and he will go away!! We also have the odd one here in the West of England, although even he is controlling his thoughtless comments lately.
Finally, please ignore the micro percent of members who fall into the "TOSSER" group, and enjoy using UHH for it's real value.

Please do n ot judge the many by the few.
Having had the privelege to visit Geordieland and Scotland I have a particular fondness for the UK. Warm welcoming people and a fabulous experience.

There are people that are ignorant in every culture, Pl,ease do not judge America by a few morons, tactless, ignorant fools that have never been out of their states.
SAD that their parents lacked the skills to teach their young simple social skills.
Probably have a family tree lacking branches

I guess I got into some Brit bashing with a couple of Brits who I thought were a bit into themselves. I didn't mean it for all Brits....just those who I felt were particularly obnoxious.

GWR100, Please don't let the few who can't control their mouths upset you. It is sad that people feel the need to attack other people's beliefs, their countries and their values. But, that happenes everywhere unfortunately. We've enjoyed your photos....don't let some ruin this site for the remainder of us.
