I take extreme exception to you uttering un-substantiated claims that 'English People" were responsible for the Bay Disaster. I am English and I had nothing to do with the incident. If I recall it was a company called BP, which once stood for British Petroleum. Sadly like so many BRITISH companies they have been taken over by capitalist ventures away from my country, and are nothing to do with the UK other than by name. I have loved posting photos on on UHH and through it I have met so many decent, like minded North Americans as well as many good people from around the world. But I have just had enough of a few uneducated, infantile people who people from the US A who continually past incorrect and inflammatory remarks about My country and my fellow citizens. Perhaps if you took more notice of what was going on in the real world instead of listening to the mostly historically incorrect view of Hollywoods version of World History then these venomous incorrect statements would not grace the pages of an otherwise superb forum for like-minded people who love the art of photography. I am extremely proud to be English and and as a Britain I will defend our name as well as those in Scotland, Wales and Ireland who have sent our young men to assist the USA in there sometime ill advised ventures into other counties on many occasions. I am fed up with Brit and English bashing by some sad people in your country.

hi gwr i can fully understand your comment's being british myself etc ,i to have had enough of people like "wabbit" etc slagging of the british at every post posting derogatory video clips etc but i,m learning that most people on here are decent people who all share one aim "to improve on a hobby they enjoy".I have learnt one thing on here and that is just ignore them the people whom love to discredit every thing british are mainly trolls ,their one purpose in life is to annoy .I have found that 99% of people on here are willing to give advice and GOOD ADVICE , so in future ignore the trolls like wabbit and a few other,s and carry on posting to what is at the end of the day A FINE SITE FOR PHOTOGRAPHER,S.

If you think Brit bashing is bad, wait till we start on the French! (you should recognize the fact that there are many Americans who descended from Irish ancestors who to this day blame the British for the Irish Potato Famine. Your own history is not very kind to the natives, such as forcing opium on the Chinese, the rule Of Britain in India, the continued occupation of northern Ireland Gibraltar and the Falklands! Our problems in the middle east come from England making the map and making nations out of Bedouin nomad tribes. Do not get me wrong there are many things English I love, Monty python, sherlock Holmes, Benny Hill, The greatest rock band of all time THE WHO, Dr Who Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy to name a few.

Most of the Brit bashing is in RESPONSE to Brits telling us what to do about guns. We don't tell you that the abolishment of the Monarchy is at least a century overdue, or the concept of the various classes in England is harmful to a growing thriving economy. Wabbit is not anti British, he just has a dry "British" sense of humor. And how could I forget the greatest English contribution to world literature, Ian Fleming and 007.

American Oil Co. was around a long time as one of US's top gasoline companies before joining BP. I love my second generation UK heritage and resent any bashing from any lolife in the US. Oh well, some people have to disrespect somebody all the time. Glad it is not the other 99 percenters on UHH.
