Start with microstock...study what is hot and what is not...you can click on an offered photo and find out how many times it has sold...e.g >100, >1000...notice how many images have not sold at all while others are knocking 'em dead. If I remember correctly to get started (search for contributors guidelines) i-stock for example requires 10 shots be accepted before you can start submitting on a regular basis. Don't be surprised to find all 10 rejected and maybe the 10 after that and so on...One thing I will guarantee should you have the gumption to stick to it you will make money. To paraphrase one responder "takes a whole lot of acceptances to make not much money." That said, I know several photographers who do have quite a thick portfolio and do make a very nice living selling microstock...I also know even more who don't make squat. Like most things in life you get out of this pretty much what you put in...good luck...over and out...Chuck

Does the subscription also cover using on two computers (one at home and one on the road) like their current licensing does?

Another thread of mis-information. Photoshop alone is $10.00/month and you get improvements as they are ready. The $50.00 is for the whole suite and THAT is a real deal.

I recently took on a new gig which requires In Design...instead of paying hundreds up front I simply "rent" it for $19.99/month invoice the client for same and life goes on...seems to me a good deal for all parties. Should Adobe suddenly raise the tariff we'll either renegotiate said contract or...over and out...Chuck

Yup, I have also succumbed to the alluring siren song of the sigma monster zoom.
Works pretty well, I am happy with the investment.

I too lust for the big Sigma but...I shoot a lot of stock stuff and the pixel police peek carefully at every photo zoomed to 100%...I know why bother but tis what is so...My question is the eagle would not cut it for stock...Is this typical of what the Sigma can do or was soft focus (at 100% zoom) more a matter of hand held, big lens, etc. Understand please I am not critiquing the shot, just curious if the big Sigma will do the job I need it to...over and out..Chuck

For those who have downloaded it.... did you not see the small type bottom left of last page at checkout where it says; "This type of file can harm your computer. Do you want to keep craft_and_vision.... anyway?" I'd be very careful what you download hedge hogs; especially if it's "free!"

I have downloaded several books, both free and otherwise, from C&V without problem. While I totally agree "be very careful" in this case I think the Download Police got a bit carried away...over and out...ChuckR

We UHHs seem to ponder many, if not all, the questions this "free" E-Book from Craft and Vision (www.craftandvision.com) explains in spades and then some. If you want to take your pics to the next level download and study this book...over and out...ChuckR

B-H and Adorama, as well as Amazon, have it listed for $489; last time I looked around didn't find a single one discounted but has been awhile...actually I think the lens has gone up in value since first released...sorry for the delayed response, guess I wasn't paying attention to my e-mails...anyway as I said this is by far the sharpest lens in my arsenal and has served me well in every way...over and out...Chuck

Wife has one and loves it. Publishable quality shots are routine especially from around mid zoom down in good light. Low light tele shots show plenty of noise but most is easily fixed in Lightroom. If 100% crops are your game this camera like most in its class fails badly. In other words pixel peepers beware, but good using qood technique, in good light she has been able to get some shot past the PP Police and into stock lists. Raw for sure would be nice but not something she can't live with...The electronic viewfinder is however worthless...over and out...ChuckR
