I have 3 HP Printers. Costco will refill the cartridges if I take them to their one-hour photo-at least for the newer models that I have. Has anyone had experience with having Costco refill their cartridges?

Yes, Norm. I have tried a Costco refill for one of my four HP's. The printer wouldn't recognize it, and it smeared all over the place. A lesson learned. Never again.

Congratulations Stefan,
You should have plenty of time to work out the particulars. As my office is just a couple of blocks away from this project, I can assure you that the PNC Tower is not anywhere near ready for hanging artwork. I'll look for your prints when the building opens sometime late next year.

It seems you have missed a lot. The prudent thing to do is to wait for the results of the investigation and see just what the facts were, and then make your determination of who was wrong, or if they both were.
I suspect however that waiting for the facts is not something you are interested in doing, you are too busy pushing forward your agenda, you and twardlow.

You're right. It seems the more prudent thing to do is simply to step away, with some regret that I joined this discussion at all. It has obviously degenerated from an objective exchange on the reported evidence to something else. My opinion one way or the other is of no consequence. But it is telling that, upon any question raised about the assumptions that underlie opinions that you support, you resort to accusation rather than refutation. Best wishes,

A trained police officer knows that after firing a couple of shots and the person is still charging, that maybe that person is on drugs making him like "superman".

That's an interesting theory, in the abstract. I've heard it expressed under different circumstances in other cases. However, with an eye to the concrete in this particular instance, I must have missed the evidence that Brown was ". . . still charging," or in fact was ever "charging" at all. Everything I've heard is quite to the contrary. Perhaps you've seen a more detailed version than I. Was there a witness who contradicted the widely observed consensus that Brown was in fixed position with both empty hands raised when the last fatal shots were fired?

I think multiple post-mortem exams established that Brown was shot six times, the last two to the head being fatal. I'd be curious to know how one would support a belief that a trained police officer, with weapon in hand, at more than two arm lengths away, after the third or fourth hit on an unarmed individual, would actually then be in fear for his life. Really?

- - I appreciate everyone's feedback. As I have other interests that I'm sure will occupy some time, I don't anticipate photography will become a singular passion -- yet. I'm going to go with the D3200 and see where that takes me, once I learn to use it effectively. If at that point I find I'm ready to graduate to "one of the finest cameras available today," as DavidPine suggested, then maybe I'll take a few shots of that bridge as I cross it. Thanks again to all. This seems like a great forum, and a welcoming place. I'll look forward to sharing and learning.

Approaching a career horizon, I'm looking forward to having some time to learn new things, among which is photography. I'd class myself in the novice/neophyte category, looking for a not overly expensive camera to start with. (My last is a 35mm SLR that is about 40 yrs. old, and I'm looking to enter the digital age.) Anyone have any thoughts, pros/cons on the Nikon D3200?
